Joker Bans All Press Interviews on World Premiere Red Carpet

Warner Bros. has disinvited print and broadcast journalists from the Joker world premiere. The event takes place this weekend in Hollywood at the TCL Chinese Theater. Photographers will be allowed to take pictures on the red carpet, but no journalists will be permitted, which means director Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix won't be answering any questions. The news comes after a huge backlash against the movie and its portrayal of violence ignited over the last few weeks. Some believe that the movie will inspire others to go out and commit acts of violence.

No Time to Die Writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge Returning for James Bond 26?

We're still months away from the arrival of No Time to Die, the 25th installment of the long-running James Bond franchise, but it's never too early to start thinking about the future. Case in point, it's being reported that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is being courted by the producers of the franchise to return to pen James Bond 26. Presumably, this movie is still years away, but Waller-Bridge is a hot ticket in Hollywood right now and that could make locking her down a major asset to the future of the series.

Marvel to Write Peter Parker Out of the MCU with Spider-Man 3?

Details continue to leak out regarding the new deal between Disney and Sony that will see Spider-Man return to the MCU for Spider-Man 3 and another yet-to-be-named movie. One interesting detail that has just surfaced is that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is viewing this as an opportunity to wrap up Peter Parker's arc in the MCU. So, even if the door isn't necessarily closed on possible, further collaborations between the two studios in the future, it appears Feige is looking to potentially put a bow on things and move on.

Tom Holland’s Uncharted Movie Eyes Bumblebee Director Travis Knight

Another day, another director trying to make the Uncharted movie happen. It's come to light that Travis Knight is now the latest filmmaker to possibly try his hand at bringing the beloved video game series to the big screen for Sony. Tom Holland, who is currently playing Spider-Man, is still attached to star in the lead role as Nathan Drake. Should things work out, Knight will see if he can work his magic and finally make this thing a reality.

Spider-Man 3 Plans to Bring Back Far from Home Director Jon Watts

Jon Watts is reportedly in final talks to direct Spider-Man 3, the sequel to this summer's blockbuster hit Spider-Man: Far From Home. Marvel fans woke up today with news that Sony and Marvel Studios had finally reached a deal to bring Tom Holland's Spider-Man back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is a far cry from where both studios were in late August, which saw Holland's Peter Parker packing his bags for an exclusive deal with Sony. At the time, Watts did not have a deal in place to direct the third installment.

Spies in Disguise Trailer #3 Has Tom Holland & Will Smith on a Bird-Brained Mission

Blue Sky Studios has released a new trailer for their upcoming animated comedy Spies in Disguise. Will Smith and Tom Holland star as an unlikely crimefighting duo in the movie. The upcoming project is based on Lucas Martell's 2009 animated short Pigeon: Impossible, though it makes some significant changes to the source material. Spies in Disguise was originally supposed to hit theaters in January of this year and then April, only to have it pushed back to September, and now finally, December.

Marvel Stars React Spider-Man’s Return to the MCU

Marvel Cinematic Universe stars are very happy to see Tom Holland's Spider-Man back where he belongs. It was announced earlier today that Marvel Studios and Sony finally reached a deal after all hope seemed like had been lost. Sony seemed perfectly comfortable moving on without the help of Kevin Feige, while fans and Holland's fellow MCU fans were deeply upset over the news, especially after Spider-Man: Far From Home left off on such an emotional cliffhanger. Now, Holland will be back for the sequel and one additional MCU project.

We're getting to that point in the year where certain movies will start getting buzz that seems to be putting them on a path to awards season. Inevitably, not all of the movies that are brought to the public consciousness using said buzz as a platform always deliver on the hype. Parasite, the latest from director Bong Joon-ho, has been subject to that very type of hype following its debut at Cannes, where it won the prestigious Palme d'Or award. I'm here to tell you, in my humble opinion, that the hype is very real for this one. Believe it, because this may well be a modern masterpiece.

The Rise of Skywalker will reportedly feature a pretty massive battle with Kylo Ren and Rey taking on Emperor Palpatine. Speculation about the final installment in the Skywalker saga has been heating up over the past few weeks as Star Wars fans try and figure out the story. J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm are doing their best to keep anything substantial from leaking, but at this point in the post-production process, some leaks are inevitable. Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Chris Evans and Brie Larson are ready to work with Kevin Feige on his Star Wars movie. It was reported earlier this week that Marvel Studios boss Feige is currently developing something for Lucasfilm. One has to wonder when Feige has time to do anything after announcing the crazy amount of projects Marvel Studios currently has in development and ready to hit both the big and small screens. His project has not been officially released, but he already has MCU stars volunteering.
